Specialists from the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of KFU (KFU branch) tested the KamAZ Arctic K-6345 all-terrain vehicle. The capabilities of the vehicle were assessed on the territory of the Karas Natural and Tourist Complex (Tatarstan).
KamAZ Arctic is a real technological breakthrough. One of the key features of the all-terrain vehicle is the engine. It is capable of starting at critically low temperatures down to -60°C. This makes the Arctic an indispensable assistant for researchers, geologists and rescuers in the Far North.
Another innovation is the articulated frame, which provides high maneuverability, despite its impressive size. Thanks to this design, the Arctic is able to overcome difficult terrain (swamps, snowdrifts and rocky surfaces).
The first tests showed impressive results. The car demonstrated high reliability and resistance to extreme conditions.
Technical characteristics of KamAZ Arctic K-6345:
- Weight — 17 tons.
- Load capacity — 13 tons.
- Engine — Kamaz 740.37-400, 12 l.
