Russian Su-34NVO multi-purpose fighters have proven themselves well on the line of combat contact in conjunction with Kh-38ML multi-purpose tactical missiles. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
Ammunition is used from the motogondola units of the combat vehicle. The missile is equipped with a semi-active laser homing head.
The supersonic Kh-38ML has a maximum flight speed of 2.2M (2400 km/h) and a mid-trajectory speed of 1.7M with a range of 60 km at a launch echelon of 10500 - 11500 m.
Dozens of destroyed насыпных and bridge crossings are on the account of missiles of this modification. In difficult meteorological conditions, the Kh-38MA modification with an active radar seeker head of the X-band can be used on radio-contrast surface targets, including pontoon-bridge crossings, concentrations of equipment, and so on.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Forpost-RU drone will receive small-sized radars for guiding Kalibrs and loitering ammunition.
