Omsk is attempting to re-engine the An-2 aircraft, making it a turboprop. As part of the modernization of the aircraft, it is proposed to install the TVD-10B engine on it — a modification of the TVD-10 turboprop engine developed back in 1965.

We have a project to resume production of TVD-10 engines. They can be used for the re-engining of the An-2 and, in the future, for the modernization of these aircraft.
Anton Alikhanov, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Siberian Research Institute of Aviation (SibNIA) named after S.A. Chaplygin plans to obtain a prototype of the "Kukuruznik" with a TVD-10B engine by the summer of this year.
