The sensor has a self-destruction and detonation function

Russian developers have equipped drones with a new reconnaissance sensor that allows for discreet tracking of enemy movement. This was reported by the NTI Project Support Fund.

The universal sensor of the UV-2 system works on the principle of reading changes in the magnetic field.

When detected, the device applies voltage from the built-in power source to the pair of wires coming out of it. The sensor has a self-destruction and detonation function.

The development will allow responding to the presence of a person with weapons and large equipment near the drone, as well as issuing a signal to destroy recordings from the drone's camera and other equipment. The cost of development turned out to be four times lower than competitive Western products.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the modernized Yak-130M aircraft with AESA radar may be sold to Asia and Africa.
