Belarus will showcase the Sapphire reactive disposable grenade launcher system at the IDEX-2025 International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi, the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus reported.
The advantages of the Belarusian grenade launcher are its light weight, multifunctional warhead, and programmable detonating device, which enables both contact and trajectory modes of operation.
One of the features of the Sapphire is the ability to combine several grenade launchers into a cluster and fire in salvo. In this case, one product becomes the master, and the rest become slaves. This allows creating a semblance of a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Belarusian gunsmiths have also provided the possibility of placing the Sapphire on various combat modules and drones.
