The crew of the corvette "Soobrazitelny" of project 20380 practiced searching for a submarine in the naval training ground of the Baltic Fleet. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The corvette's crew carried out a set of measures to classify and track the underwater target using the ship's sonar station. After which, the detected submarine was conditionally destroyed using torpedo weapons.
Also, the naval sailors practiced artillery firing at surface targets.
The basic armament of the project 20380 corvettes includes - a strike anti-ship complex "Caliber" or "Yakhont", an artillery gun A-190 caliber 100 mm, two anti-aircraft missile and gun systems "Kashtan-M" for missile defense, as well as a Ka-27 type deck helicopter.
