The Indian Ministry of Defense has signed a contract with Russia for the supply of anti-ship cruise missiles to the republic. The Indian defense department announced this on social network X.
Today in New Delhi, the Ministry of Defense, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Defense Rajesh Kumar Singh, signed a contract with Russia for the purchase of anti-ship cruise missiles. These missiles will significantly increase the combat capabilities of the Indian submarine fleet.
The department did not specify the delivery dates, the name of the missiles, or their quantity.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that India is preparing to conclude a number of deals for the sale of the BrahMos cruise missile (produced by the joint Russian-Indian venture BrahMos Aerospace Private Ltd).
