Устойчивый, маневренный, легкий в управлении: самолёт ТВС-2МС успешно прошёл испытания в Томске

The aircraft made 6 flights in 9 hours

The TВС-2МС aircraft successfully passed flight tests at the Beryozkino airfield in Tomsk. The test program included six flights, lasting approximately 9 hours. This was reported by the press service of the manufacturing company "Rusaviaprom".

The tests were conducted on an aircraft without cargo, with a take-off weight of about 4000 kg. The TВС-2МС demonstrated excellent stability, maneuverability, and controllability in various operating modes.

It steadily performs turns with a bank angle of up to 60 degrees in both directions. When accelerating to the maximum airspeed of 300 km/h according to the AFM, the aircraft is stable, there are no vibrations along the fuselage, and there is no breakage of the bracing wires.

During the tests, the average fuel consumption (aviation kerosene TC-1) was 170 kg/hour. The take-off run of the TВС-2МС is about 100 meters, and the landing distance is from 120 to 130 meters. The rate of climb of the aircraft when climbing to a height of three thousand meters is 7 minutes.

Landings were performed on a snowy runway with a low coefficient of adhesion, but the brakes in combination with the engine reverse provide a stable stop on the runway after landing within the above distance.

TВС-2МС is a modernization project of the An-2 aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with a modern turboprop engine and is planned to be used for aviation tasks and passenger transportation.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that tests of a new fire extinguishing system for the TВС-2МС aircraft have begun in Novosibirsk.
