The first footage of a Russian FPV drone with fiber optic cable control has appeared online. The military spoke about the operating principles of the drone, which has become a real headache for tank crews.
In the video, you can see that the drone is equipped with a HEAT warhead, namely a PG-9 grenade from the SPG-9 Kopye man-portable anti-tank grenade launcher. The damaging effect of the ammunition was further enhanced by shrapnel.
The footage shows the detailed design of such a drone, as well as the moment of its pre-flight preparation.
The fiber optic line is very thin, you can't take off and turn sharply. You can go fast, but only in a straight line. The line then lies on the branches of trees and that's it. The drone is not afraid of electronic warfare equipment, it just flies by. They burn tanks, cars, it's very interesting.
