The Kalashnikov concern has developed a computerized fire control system with a sight for small arms. Thanks to machine learning, the complex automatically detects the target and can fire when aiming at it.
The user can fire both independently and by combining the crosshairs of the sight with the tracked target.
If it is impossible to perform target recognition processes during automated firing, the shot is fired at the moment when the position of the weapon coincides with the position at which the aiming mark coincided with the target.
The sighting system includes a rangefinder module with an electronic weather station and a ballistic computer, as well as a sight with an image recognition module.
The development can significantly improve the effectiveness of the use of small arms in various weather conditions. Tests have shown that the use of the system increases the probability of hitting a head target with the first shot at a range of 300 m by 1.6 times, and a chest target by 1.4 times.
The developers have provided for the system to be connected to reconnaissance, control and communication systems, as well as to the user's helmet-mounted monitor.
