Servicemen of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet practiced tasks to search and destroy mock saboteurs in Primorsky Krai. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the exercise scenario, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of a mock enemy landed in the coastal marine zone to commit sabotage at one of the fleet's facilities.
A Ka-27PS helicopter was sent to the area where the "saboteurs" were located. Fighters of the patrol group of the detachment to combat underwater sabotage forces and means neutralized the "violators" with small arms fire from the helicopter.
The Ka-27PS helicopter can detect and track the movement of underwater and surface targets, use its own weapons against them, or transmit data to warships of the fleet.
Technical characteristics of the Ka-27PS helicopter:
