ТМХ освоил производство редукторов для электропоездов «Иволга»

The service life of the product is 40 years

The Demikhovsky Engineering Plant (DMZ, part of TMH) has launched the production of gearboxes for Ivolga electric trains. This was reported by the company's press service.

DMZ became one of the first plants in Russia to start producing gearboxes for multiple-unit rolling stock. Design and preparation for production took 18 months. As part of the modernization, 11 units of new equipment were purchased (turning, milling and grinding machining centers with numerical control), as well as a heat treatment complex of domestic production.

Almost all gearbox components are produced in Russia. The service life of the product is 40 years.

The first batch of products was sent to the customer in May of this year. In November, DMZ produced 50 gearboxes for EGE2Tv Ivolga 4.0 electric trains in one month. This allows the plant to reach a production capacity of 600 gearboxes per year.

Earlier www1.ru reported that TMH will launch mass production of engines.
