Corvettes "Rezky", "Gromkiy", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" of project 20380 of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy and the support vessel "Pechenga" arrived in Thailand. The ships moored at the main Sattahip base of the Royal Thai Navy in Chonburi province to the accompaniment of a military orchestra.
Thai Navy officer Chanakarn Boonwan noted that this visit is intended to demonstrate that the naval forces of both countries are linked by good and long-standing relations.
The commander of the detachment of warships, Alexey Antsiferov, noted the honors rendered and the friendly reception from the Thai military, including the overflight of the entire formation of ships by an aircraft.
The press service of the Pacific Fleet informed in early October that "Gromkiy", "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" went to sea to perform tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR).
