Corvettes of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy "Rezky", "Gromkiy", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" of project 20380 and the support vessel "Pechenga" arrived in Thailand. The ships docked at the main base of the Royal Thai Navy Sattahip in Chonburi province to the accompaniment of a military orchestra.
Thai Navy officer Chanakarn Boonwan noted that this visit is intended to demonstrate that the naval forces of both countries are linked by good and long-standing relations.
The commander of the detachment of warships, Alexey Antsiferov, noted the honors and cordial reception from the Thai military, including the overflight of the entire formation of ships by an aircraft.
The press service of the Pacific Fleet informed in early October that "Gromkiy", "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" went to sea to perform tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR).
