Russian military forces have employed a new combined rocket and artillery strike on the front lines. This tactic has proven effective in attacking concentrations of light transport and enemy infantry.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev clarified that the strike was carried out by a 9K720 Iskander-M OTRK unit using 2 operational-tactical ballistic missiles 9M723-1, as well as Uragan and Tornado-G MLRS units.
It can be noted that the 9M723-1 missile was apparently used at a distance of over 170 - 200 km. The flight speed in the final section of the trajectory did not exceed 750 - 800 m/s with a dive angle of about 85 - 87 degrees.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the domestic "Tornado-S" has received new long-range ammunition.
