A program for creating film and TV series scripts based on artificial intelligence (AI) has been developed at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). This was reported by the university's press service.
The AI assistant should take on routine (according to the developers) tasks: generating ideas, editing ready-made scripts, and also act as an intermediary (digital whiteboard) in cases where several authors are working on the text at the same time. For example, it will take the neural network only 20 minutes to generate text for a 40-minute episode of a TV series.
The process of creating scripts is divided into three stages. The first is the preparation of data about people or events. The second is formatting the request to submit it to the input of a large language model (LLM). The third is communication with the LLM agent in Chat completion mode.
Formatting and structuring the request based on information from the database takes a fraction of a second. On average, it took us no more than 5 minutes to find a website with a biography and highlight key facts for coverage for one person.
The developers emphasized that the texts still suffer from шаблонностью. Therefore, screenwriters should not be afraid that AI will be able to completely replace their product of fantasy.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that artificial intelligence has been trained to understand images and process large amounts of text.
