The Metrovagonmash plant (MVM, part of TMH) has sent a "Minsk 2024" train (model 81-765.7/766.7) to Belarus. The train is intended for use in the Belarusian metro.
The new trains are intended for the Zelenoluzhskaya line of the Minsk Metro, where platform doors are used. For precise alignment of the door openings of the cars and platforms, the length of the intermediate cars has been reduced by 140 mm, and the head cars by 70 mm. The cars are equipped with the necessary equipment for synchronization with platform doors.
Special attention is paid to the ergonomics of the driver's workplace. The control panel has been completely redesigned in accordance with the customer's wishes, ensuring maximum convenience and safety. An evacuation ladder is installed on the front of the cab for safe descent into the tunnel in the event of an emergency.
To increase passenger comfort, the cars are equipped with widened door openings of 1400 mm and continuous barrel-shaped inter-car passages up to 1500 mm wide. This facilitates movement inside the train and increases its capacity during peak hours.
The interiors are equipped with ergonomic seats with wear-resistant soft upholstery, handrails with a "warm" coating, modern lighting and climate control systems with air disinfection function. There are USB sockets for charging electronic devices, video surveillance, detection and fire extinguishing systems.
The head cars are equipped with spaces for strollers and passengers with limited mobility. All cars are motorized and equipped with modern asynchronous traction electric motors of domestic production. The speed of the trains is up to 90 km/h, and the service life is 30 years. The exterior features a unique design in the corporate colors of the Minsk Metro.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec will glaze the cars of the Minsk metro.
