The newest line of "Obereg" body armor has been developed for demining specialists. The body armor is lightweight — up to 5 kg.
The manufacturer is the Tula plant "Oktava" (part of Rostec). The product is equipped with ballistic packages of protection class C2 and Br1+, and also takes into account the specifics of the work of explosive ordnance disposal technicians.
They can withstand pistol bullets and fragments, and also protect against the main types of modern anti-personnel mines.
Pavel Pavlenko, General Director of "Oktava", noted that the equipment is in high demand. All modifications of "Obereg" have passed the necessary tests and received certificates of compliance.
They are already in great demand. I note that the volume of equipment produced at the enterprise has increased many times over compared to 2023.
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2024" takes place from August 12 to 14, 2024 at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces began to use a new type of missile to engage the enemy. They fly significantly further and are twice as accurate thanks to the built-in motor.
