The new SUV is based on the "Sadko Next" chassis, and the cabless cab is taken from the "Valdai NEXT". Conceptually, it repeats the GAZ-66 cab, as it is located above the engine. The car has been under development since 2022, but when the SUV will be ready is unknown.

There are also no technical details. Industry experts believe that the 5.4-liter engine from the "Sadko Next" will not fit into the cabless cab, so some other engine may be used there, for example, with a volume of 2.5 or 2.8 liters, from other GAZ models.

It is worth recalling that the GAZ-66 was produced from 1964 to 1999. It was actively used in the army and agriculture.
