The new off-road vehicle is based on the "Sadko Next" chassis, and the cabless cab is taken from the "Valdai NEXT". Conceptually, it repeats the cab of the GAZ-66, since it is located above the engine. The car has been under development since 2022, but when the off-road vehicle will be ready is unknown.

There are also no technical details. Industry experts believe that the 5.4-liter engine from the "Sadko Next" will not fit into the cabless cab, so some other engine may be used there, for example, with a volume of 2.5 or 2.8 liters, from other GAZ models.

As a reminder, the GAZ-66 was produced from 1964 to 1999. It was actively used in the army and agriculture.
