The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) may increase the production of 9K333 "Verba" man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) to cover important facilities using "Dzhigit" support-launching units.
As new complexes with higher tactical and technical characteristics were created, it became clear that MANPADS can be used not only in military air defense, but also as an element of the system for covering important facilities.
The holding's press service recalled that in the 2010s, the "Dzhigit" support-launching unit was created for this purpose, which can be placed stationary or on light vehicles and carry out single, sequential, and salvo launches of MANPADS missiles.
"Verba" is designed to engage airplanes, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, and cruise missiles on head-on and tail-chase courses in conditions of powerful organized optical interference with visual target visibility.
The complex also has enhanced capabilities when firing at targets with a low level of thermal radiation, which is relevant for engaging small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles.

- Range of action — 500-6400 m
- Altitude of engagement — 10-4500 m
- Mass of combat equipment — 17.25 kg
- Maximum speed of engaged targets on head-on courses — 400 m/s
- Maximum speed of engaged targets on tail-chase courses — 320 m/s
- Number of spectral channels of the OGS — 3
- Application, on land, in the air, and at sea from mobile and stationary carriers
