Russian military personnel are effectively using the light multi-purpose guided missile (LMUR) ("Product 305", belongs to the class of high-precision weapons) in combat conditions. This is confirmed by objective control footage from the air.
The subsonic tactical missile, or as it is also called the "combat serpent", when diving on a target at an angle of 30-35°, uses a command-telemetric channel. "Product 305" also has an infrared (IR) guidance sensor that detects heat-contrast targets such as "tank" at a distance of up to 5 km and "human" type - up to 2 km. At the same time, the missile allows firing from closed positions.
LMUR "Product 305" was developed by specialists of "High-Precision Complexes". The high-explosive fragmentation warhead of the missile weighing 25 kg hits single and group targets, including armored vehicles, buildings, and enemy air defense systems. "Product 305" is launched from strike Ka-52 and Mi-28N helicopters, and the Su-25SM3 attack aircraft.
