C5 Aircross crossovers should soon be available for sale in Russia. The car has received a "Vehicle Type Approval Certificate" (VTAC).
VTAC number — ТС RU Е-RU.МТ02.01180.И1. The applicant and manufacturer of the car is the company "Automobile Technologies". Previously, information about the characteristics of the vehicle could be obtained from the VTAC document, but now this document is no longer public.
The issuance of VTAC is a procedure that determines the compliance of transport with all safety and environmental protection requirements. Before receiving the certificate, product quality checks are carried out in accordance with the legislative framework of Russia.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that since the end of March 2024, Citroen C5 Aircross production has been resumed in Russia. Car kits come from China. The company "Automobile Technologies" together with an unnamed investor invested in the production.
