As part of the XI International Eurasian Taxi Forum, a public showing of the new model from the Moscow Automobile Plant took place – the "Moskvich 6" liftback, which is actually a rebranded JAC Sehol A5 Plus (sold in China since 2021).
Currently, this is the largest "Moskvich": its dimensions are 4780 x 1820 x 1492 mm, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm. It is no coincidence that it was presented at the Taxi Forum – a spacious and practical car is quite suitable for use in private transportation services.
The JAC Sehol A5 Plus has one engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and one power option – 184 hp. The "Moskvich 6" also has one 1.5-liter engine, but two power options – 136 and 174 hp. Accordingly, the first uses a CVT, the second uses a 6-speed robotic gearbox.
"Moskvich 6" will please with rich equipment: there will be a driver's seat with electric adjustment, heated front seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, climate control, media system with a 10.4-inch screen.
It is expected that the cost of "Moskvich 6" will be announced in August, and the car will go on sale in September. But there is no doubt that it will be more expensive than "Moskvich 3".
