"Rostec" has developed the "Prometheus" software and hardware complex, which allows turning any tank or armored personnel carrier into a drone

The State Corporation is working to improve the autonomy of "Prometheus"

Industrial Director of the Rostec cluster of weapons, ammunition and special chemistry, Bekhan Ozdoev, spoke about the new development of the state corporation – the Prometheus software and hardware complex.

With its help, any vehicle, both wheeled and tracked, can be turned into a robot. This can be an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier or a tank. Control is provided using a remote control, while the regular seats of crew members are retained. Minor modifications to combat vehicles are required

He noted that the project is developing towards increasing autonomy: a vehicle equipped with Prometheus will be able to autonomously determine the best route, bypass obstacles, and quickly process information using computer vision.

If you combine "Prometheus" with promising fire control systems, you get a real "terminator"
