Scientific and technological companies within the quantum technology ecosystem presented their digital products and results of completed projects at the Forum of Future Technologies. With the help of a cloud access service to software emulators of quantum computers of its own design, QBoard (OKT LLC) aims to solve optimization problems, material modeling problems, drug modeling problems, and big data and artificial intelligence processing problems for the financial, energy, oil and gas, and other sectors of the Russian economy.
QApp (KuApp LLC) develops comprehensive cybersecurity software solutions based on post-quantum encryption algorithms. These products protect valuable data with a long lifecycle from attacks using both classical and quantum computers. QApp solutions are already being piloted in limited perimeters of information systems of banks, vendors of communication and other services, and developers of domestic processors.
Both companies are focused on the B2B and B2G segments and already have successful experience in implementing pilot projects. The companies are united by a significant scientific component, high technological readiness of products, a team of strong specialists, and work in promising, dynamically developing markets.
As Anton Guglya noted, "early-stage startups regularly face a large number of challenges, such as a high level of uncertainty, hiring and retaining qualified personnel, and most importantly, validating the business need for their products with revenue."
In terms of personnel, we compete with large IT companies in the race for talent, and in terms of commerce in the target segments, we are improving our processes for effective work with large businesses and the government. Daily work on these and other challenges tempers us, hones the values and processes that are necessary on the path to building a large, successful technology business.
