Belarusian-Russian regional aircraft to enter regular routes in 2028

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, outlined the timing and stages of the release of the future Russian-Belarusian regional aircraft. It turns out that it will be possible to test it in action only in 2028.

«2027 is the year of certification of this aircraft. From 2028 - commercial operation», Denis Manturov said. He also clarified that the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) and the Belarusian "558th Aviation Repair Plant" will be engaged in the creation of the new product.

No more details are available, but it was previously reported that it would receive non-retractable landing gear and a VK-800 engine, which UZGA is working on.
