Белорусско-российский региональный самолет выйдет на регулярные маршруты в 2028 году

It will be designed for 19 seats

The Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, outlined the timeline and stages for the release of the future Russian-Belarusian regional aircraft. It turns out that it will only be possible to test it in action in 2028.

«2027 is the year for the certification of this aircraft. Commercial operation will begin in 2028,» said Denis Manturov. He also clarified that the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) and the Belarusian "558th Aviation Repair Plant" will be involved in creating the new product.

No further details are available, but it was previously reported that it would have non-retractable landing gear and a VK-800 engine, which UZGA is working on.
