The Kalashnikov concern has completed ahead of schedule the deliveries of KUB guided munitions and has received permission to export the KUB-2E and KUB-10E modifications. The company is ready for international contracts for these products, according to the head of the company, Alan Lushnikov.
An important step was the integration of the entire KUB ammunition line with the SKAT-350M reconnaissance drone, which is actively used by the Russian military. Now the complex will be able to work in a strike-reconnaissance configuration.
State tests of the 120-mm self-propelled artillery gun "Lotos" are ongoing. The vehicle is undergoing firing tests at a training ground near Moscow, as well as buoyancy tests in southern Russia.
The key project of the concern remains the new short-range air defense system "Krona". According to Lushnikov, the system is in a high degree of readiness, and its serial production will start in 2026. As part of the project, preparations have been completed for the production of the 9M340 missile, which, along with the 9M333, will be used in the complex.
"Krona" is a further development of the Strela family, but is distinguished by its modularity and versatility of application - from stationary platforms and turret positions to light ships. The bicaliber 9M340 missile with a booster engine provides target engagement at a distance of up to 10 km and at an altitude of up to 5 km, which expands the capabilities of object and ship air defense, including for protecting coastal areas from UAVs and surface drones.
The new complex and the expansion of the production of high-precision missiles (Vikhr, Kitolov, 9M333) form a more flexible system of air defense and strike weapons, aimed at mass use in modern conflicts.
