Mikheev: By 2030, technological contracts will account for 40% of the global arms market

Rosoboronexport interacts with commercial enterprises of other countries. By 2030, technological contracts will account for 40% of the global market for military products. This was stated by Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport.

Currently, Russia is implementing more than 20 projects with 10 countries, including countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, the CIS and Europe. This includes the creation of joint ventures (JVs), localization of production abroad, technical assistance in the development of weapons, and joint production of military equipment.

According to Mikheev, Russia is developing technological cooperation most extensively with India. In particular, within the framework of the Make In India and "Self-Reliant India" programs.

We are successfully implementing projects, including the production of АК-203 with the prospect of 100% localization in India, the production of Mango rounds, aircraft engines, and the re-motorization of the Indian fleet of T-72 tanks at the facilities of Indian enterprises.
