OAK aims to produce 12 Il-114-300s per year, but there are already more contenders for the aircraft

The company promises serial production, regions await first deliveries

The first Il-114-300 aircraft will be produced in 2026, and their production volume could reach 12 units annually. These estimates were voiced by Vadim Badeha, head of the United Aircraft Corporation.

We estimate the planned production volume to be from 6 to 12 per year, depending on demand. We see no problems with the production of this aircraft; the first aircraft will be produced this year.

Several regions of Russia are already showing interest in the new regional airliners. Several regional air carriers are currently vying for the right to receive the first batches of Il-114-300s. Previously, the Second Arkhangelsk United Air Detachment was named among the possible first operators, but other customers are also counting on initial deliveries.

In May, the aircraft completed an additional stage of certification tests in Arctic conditions. The Il-114-300 is a deeply modernized version of the Il-114 passenger turboprop aircraft and is being created by Rostec enterprises under the management of the "Il" company, part of OAK.

The Il-114-300 is expected to become one of the key Russian aircraft for regional transportation, and its public display will take place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Earlier, "Perviy Tekhnicheskiy" reported that, according to the head of OAK, the Kazan Aircraft Plant plans to reach serial production of Tu-214 aircraft up to 20 units per year.
