The production center of PJSC "Yakovlev" in Komsomolsk-on-Amur is working on 26 serial SJ-100 aircraft out of 42 contracted. The first 12 liners are in a high degree of readiness, said Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Gennady Abramenkov.
According to him, certification is ongoing, and the flight part will be completed within two to three months.
Now the pace per machine is an average of 25 test flights per month, so in the near future. I think that we will complete all flights on this machine in 2–3 months.
Certification of the SJ-100 with the PD-8 engine is expected in August 2026. At the same time, it was clarified that the deadlines depend on the comments of the key body — Rosaviatsiya.
On March 20, Rosaviatsiya announced plans to certify the import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft in July 2026. The Ministry of Transport noted that the PD-8 engine will also receive a type document in April. Consequently, the deadlines have already "shifted to the right."
