Hero of Russia, combat pilot, Major General Sergei Lipovoy, who heads the presidium of the All-Russian organization "Officers of Russia", praised the capabilities of the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter.
According to him, the Su-57 has long gone beyond the traditional classification of an aircraft.
Su-57 is no longer even an aircraft according to the classification, according to all documents, but an aviation tactical complex, equipped with the most advanced and necessary weapons. It has huge capabilities. It can be effectively used to destroy ground, air and surface targets of the enemy.
The Major General emphasized that the regular improvement of technology demonstrates the high efficiency and flexibility of the domestic defense industry. Manufacturers quickly respond to needs and refine the platform taking into account real operating experience.
Earlier it became known that the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) handed over a batch of Su-57 aircraft in a new technical configuration. The machines received an updated weapons system and onboard systems.
