Rostec has sent a batch of new fifth-generation Su-57 fighters with an updated weapons and onboard systems complex to the troops, the state corporation's press service reported.
Rostec head Sergei Chemezov noted that the Su-57 is "not just being stamped out" but is constantly being developed taking into account customer needs.
The Su-57 is a formidable weapon that has proven its effectiveness on the front lines. It has many targets to its credit. Today, we handed over vehicles to the troops that have become even more powerful and dangerous.
The state corporation emphasized that the Su-57 has undergone tremendous evolution and continues to improve, increasing its weapons capabilities and, accordingly, its combat power.
The head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Vadim Badeha, emphasized that the Su-57 is currently the only aircraft capable of operating in the air defense engagement zone.
