ZALA Company Implements IRRA AI System for Monitoring Fuel and Energy Complex Facilities in its UAVs

Drones Now Not Just Filming - They Analyze and Warn

Leading Russian oil and gas companies have begun mass implementation of unmanned aerial systems with artificial intelligence elements developed by "ZALA Aero." The new system, called IRRA, is already in use at strategic fuel and energy complex facilities and is radically transforming approaches to environmental control and critical infrastructure protection.

Equipped with the IRRA hardware and software complex, ZALA unmanned aerial systems (UAS) are capable of round-the-clock video surveillance — both in the visible and infrared ranges. The main advantage of the new platform is the built-in artificial intelligence algorithms that analyze the transmitted image in real time, automatically recognize and classify objects, and transmit structured information to the ground station, rather than "raw" video data.

According to field tests, over 70% of significant events are recorded and identified immediately during the flight. This reduces the time to detect incidents and speeds up the response of operational services by several times.
