The disseminated information about the alleged damage to one of the Russian submarines in the bay of the Novorossiysk naval base of the Black Sea Fleet is not true. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The department emphasized that the rumors that have appeared about the alleged damage to the submarine with the help of an underwater unmanned vehicle have no basis.
No ship or submarine of the Black Sea Fleet, stationed in the bay of the Novorossiysk naval base, as well as their crews, have been damaged and are performing their duties as usual.
Recall that Novorossiysk Bay is one of the main bases for the Russian Black Sea Fleet, both warships and submarines are stationed there.
