In the waters of Peter the Great Bay, the crew of the corvette "Rezkiy" of the Pacific Fleet conducted a comprehensive tactical exercise dedicated to countering small unmanned attack vehicles. During the maneuvers, the sailors simulated repelling a massive attack by unmanned boats (BECs) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Combat crews practiced algorithms for target distribution and firing in defense sectors. Large-caliber machine guns and the AK-630 anti-aircraft artillery system were used to destroy simulated surface targets. As the tactical situation developed, small-sized aerial targets were included in the course of the exercise, the counteraction to which was provided by both electronic warfare equipment and standard small arms, including automatic weapons and smooth-bore guns.
Following the exercise, the command confirmed the high level of combat readiness of the crew in the face of modern threats. The exercises demonstrated the effectiveness of an integrated approach to anti-robot protection of the ship from simultaneous attacks from the sea and air.
"Rezkiy" is a Russian multi-purpose corvette with guided missile weapons of the near and far sea zone, the fourth ship of Project 20380. It was commissioned on September 14, 2023, and is part of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy.
