The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has demanded through the court to seize the KIMП holding, which produces bearings for the Armed Forces and defense enterprises, in favor of the state. The lawsuit was filed with the Gagarin District Court of Moscow at the initiative of Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan.
In total, 15 individuals and one company are defendants in the case, and 14 more organizations were involved as third parties.
The KIMП holding includes the plants «10-ГПЗ», «ОК-Лоза» and «ГПЗ-2 Тверь», which supplied products for the largest enterprises of the military-industrial complex. According to the supervisory authority and the FSB, the shareholders of KIMП organized a scheme to repeatedly inflate prices for bearing products.
According to the lawsuit, KIMП companies managed to include their plants in the documentation of defense enterprises as the only suppliers, and alternative products were removed from warranty service.
From 2020 to 2025, the holding concluded more than 300 contracts worth over 150 billion rubles. Experts recorded an increase in standard hours by up to eight times and an increase in the cost of products by 5–10 times. The Prosecutor General's Office demanded the arrest of the holding's assets and their transfer to the state.
