The launch pad for Angara heavy-class carrier rockets has been put into operation at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. This was reported by Roscosmos.
The launch pad area is just over 45 thousand m², it is one of the most modern and automated in the world.
Also, as part of the construction of the Angara launch complex, another 37 facilities were commissioned. Among them are a command post, a technological oxygen and nitrogen unit, an oxygen and nitrogen storage facility, evacuation tunnels and other facilities.
In total, at the moment, 70% of the facilities have already been put into operation as part of the construction of the Angara launch complex. The remaining auxiliary facilities are planned to be commissioned by the end of March 2026.
Roscosmos emphasized that all advanced technological achievements of recent years were taken into account when creating the launch complex for the Angara space rocket complex. The project was developed taking into account the possibility of simultaneous construction, installation and testing of technological equipment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the sites of the Angara launch complex at Vostochny were left without electricity due to the contractor's debts.
