ODK-STAR, part of the United Engine Corporation (ODK), signed a special investment contract (SPIC) with the government of the Perm Territory, designed for the period from 2025 to 2034. As part of the agreement, the company will allocate 10 billion rubles to expand its own production facilities. The company plans to increase the production of components for PD-8 and PD-14 engines, intended for Russian regional and medium-range aircraft — Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) and MC-21.
The project is being implemented in the context of an active course towards import substitution and technological independence in aircraft construction.
Investments will allow the company not only to provide the domestic aviation industry with critical components and assemblies, but also to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.
It is worth recalling that as part of the project, three new production buildings with a total area of 44 thousand m² will be built on the ODK-STAR site by 2027.
