The crab catcher has been in St. Petersburg since October. Here, the Neva shipbuilders were preparing it for tests, which will take 5 days.

Before the factory tests, the workers installed a smoke stack and a gas exhaust pipeline, and also checked the operation of all communication systems with the wheelhouse.

About the KSP 01 project

"Kildin" is the second crab processor being built as part of the "Quotas for Keel" investment program. It is designed for year-round fishing in the Barents, Norwegian and Greenland Seas.

The vessel is equipped with equipment for processing the catch. The first crab catcher of the KSP 01 project, "Vaigach", was launched in 2022.
