Three new wind farms with a total capacity of 230 MW are planned to be built in the Stavropol Territory, according to the head of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov.
The implementation of the projects will increase wind generation capacity in the region by almost a quarter.
We are developing plans for the construction of two wind farms in the Turkmen and Trunovsky districts with a capacity of 80 MW each, and in the Kochubeevsky district with a capacity of 70 MW.
Investments in the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in the Stavropol Territory reached 120 billion rubles by 2025. Over the past seven years, 11 projects in the field of RES have been successfully implemented in the region.
Currently, there are nine hydroelectric power plants, seven wind farms, and one of the largest solar power plants in the country operating in the Stavropol Territory.
We will build another solar power plant with a capacity of 110 megawatts in the Levokumsky district.
To date, the energy generation capacity in the Stavropol Territory is almost three times higher than its own needs.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rosatom включил Novolakskaya WPP into the Unified Energy System — the first stage of 61 wind turbines has started.
