UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally inspected the Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter at the international Dubai Airshow - 2025. This was announced by the head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia Dmitry Shugaev.
According to him, the head of state asked questions about the combat aircraft, climbed onto a special observation deck and looked into the cockpit of the pilot.
We told him everything, he showed great interest. Al Nahyan's entourage consisted mainly of military specialists. They received complete information.
A retired military pilot, author of the Fighterbomber Telegram channel noted that for foreign customers, the Su-57E can be made two-seater. Presumably, we are talking about India. Information about interest in the aircraft from the UAE has not yet been received.
Earlier, the cockpit of the Su-57E was shown from the inside for the first time. It turned out to be even simpler than on the Su-27, but most of the technologies are hidden inside the fuselage.
