LocoTech-Promservice (LTPS) has successfully started mastering the TO-3 level maintenance of the new TEM23 shunting locomotive, manufactured by Transmashholding JSC at the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant.
TO-3 level maintenance for the TEM23 locomotive includes comprehensive diagnostics and routine operations on key systems of the machine. The scope of work includes inspection and maintenance of the diesel engine and auxiliary units, diagnostics and testing of the traction drive, inspection of the brake system, inspection of bogies and axle boxes, inspection of electrical equipment, renewal of operating fluids and filters, as well as monitoring of safety and reliability parameters of the locomotive.
The project is aimed at creating a large-scale service infrastructure for the new TEM23 locomotive family - from warranty support and unscheduled preventive repairs to comprehensive technical support throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment.
The main goal of the service company is to ensure high operational readiness of the rolling stock, optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO) and create new standards of service in the railway industry.
