The Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Engineering (TsKBA, part of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec State Corporation) will complete the development and testing of a lightweight portable short-range radar station (radar) by the end of 2025. This was announced by Rostec.
Currently, specialists are working on various versions of the air space surveillance radar.
It is planned to complete the development and testing of a portable short-range radar with reduced weight and size characteristics by the end of 2025.
The state corporation added that tests of an increased range air space surveillance radar are being completed in parallel. While maintaining weight and size characteristics, it will increase the detection range of drones by 15–20%.
