The latest Russian fifth-generation fighter, the Su-57, has received artificial intelligence technologies. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
The combat aircraft was showcased at the Russian exposition as part of the Dubai Airshow 2025 exhibition.
Artificial intelligence is already an integral part for quick decision-making by the pilot, especially when working in a group. It's impossible for one person to simultaneously make decisions, control both the aircraft and the means of destruction directly. Therefore, AI actively participates in the work together with the pilot.
Manturov added that the Su-57 is one of the best combat aircraft in the world and has already proven itself in real combat conditions.
Military expert Evgeny Mikhailov explained in a commentary to «Первый технический» that the transfer of the license to India for the production of the Su-57 abroad demonstrates high confidence in domestic weapons.
