South Korean corporation LG Electronics has received patents for 6 trademarks in Russia. This is confirmed by data from the database of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
We are talking about products of the Xboom brand: XboomStage, XboomPower, XboomBuds. They are registered under class 9 of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS), which includes audio speakers, headphones and acoustic systems.
In addition, the Affectionate Intelligence, LG AI Processor, webOS trademarks appeared in the Rospatent database, which correspond to ICGS classes 9 and 42. These include chips and microcircuits, and computer software maintenance.
Applications for trademark registration were filed in the last two years. Their validity period will expire in 2034-2035.
In the spring of 2022, LG Electronics announced the cessation of supplies of its products to Russia. In March 2025, The Korea Times reported that the company's management was considering the possibility of returning to the Russian market.
