The Russian military has begun testing the light all-wheel drive «Ulan-2» transporter.
The all-terrain vehicle was created on the basis of the GAZ «Sobol NN», but retained the visual features of the «Ulan-Niva» transporter. The car is distinguished by its simple design, reliability and ease of maintenance.
The all-terrain vehicle can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h. Load capacity is 1.5 tons.
There are three seats in the transporter's cab. It is separated from the body by a quick-detachable awning and a strong net. Instead of doors, there is protection made of dense fabric.
«Ulan-2» is easy to maintain, thanks to the availability of spare parts for the «Sobol». The model is designed for transporting goods, equipment and personnel in off-road conditions. If necessary, the all-terrain vehicle can be equipped with light weapons, a communication and navigation system, as well as a radio station.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Chihuan unmanned heavy tracked transporter was presented at the Motozima 2025 exhibition.
