The Russian military has begun testing the light all-wheel drive "Ulan-2" transporter.
The all-terrain vehicle is based on the GAZ "Sobol NN", but retains the visual features of the "Ulan-Niva" transporter. The car is characterized by simple design, reliability and ease of maintenance.
The all-terrain vehicle can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h. Load capacity — 1.5 tons.
There are three seats in the transporter's cab. It is separated from the body by a quick-detachable awning and a powerful net. Instead of doors, there is protection made of dense fabric.
The "Ulan-2" is easy to maintain, thanks to the availability of spare parts for the "Sobol". The model is designed for transporting goods, equipment and personnel in off-road conditions. If necessary, the all-terrain vehicle can be equipped with light weapons, a communication and navigation system, as well as a radio station.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Chihuan unmanned heavy tracked transporter was presented at the Motozima 2025 exhibition.
