Military expert Alexei Leonkov spoke about the advantages of the Russian fifth-generation Su-57 (Felon) fighter over the American F-22 and F-35. According to him, the Su-57 combines high maneuverability and stealth technology with a unique surveillance and control automation system.
Leonkov noted that the aircraft is equipped with two internal compartments for air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons, and is also capable of using specialized missiles, including Х-58.
In addition, the Su-57 has an intelligent system that performs the functions of a second pilot - it controls defense systems and helps the pilot focus on combat missions.
The system also monitors the onboard defense system. In addition, the Su-57 is equipped with several reservation stations that create the so-called spherical radar field. Thanks to this, the pilot sees the whole situation around the aircraft and is as if in the center of the sphere. The F-22 and F-35 do not have such characteristics.
As noted, Russia intends to impress at the 19th International Aviation Exhibition Dubai Airshow, where it is demonstrating the Su-57. According to media reports, Algeria became one of the buyers of the fighter, and the export program is gaining momentum.
