The Russian defense industry continues to increase production capacity. According to sources, the monthly production of Geran-2 drones has reached a stable level of 6,500–7,500 units.
This volume ensures the possibility of conducting large-scale operations with the use of hundreds of devices simultaneously, which significantly increases the intensity and effectiveness of combat use.
Experts note that such production rates make it possible not only to replenish losses, but also to create strategic reserves of drones for sudden and massive attacks. The increase in production was made possible by the expansion of production lines, optimization of logistics and increased supply of components.
It is reported that new batches of drones are being modernized taking into account the experience of use. In the updated version, the devices receive improved navigation systems, increased noise immunity and the ability to operate in difficult weather conditions, which makes them more effective in the modern configuration of combat operations.
