Ростех представил первый в России «умный» шлифовальный комплекс для авиастроения

The unit is designed for high-precision machining of aircraft engine parts

The Rostec State Corporation has developed the first domestic five-axis grinding complex SXS 512, designed for high-precision machining of aircraft engine parts. The new product was created by the STAN holding and has already received the national award "Best Industrial Design – 2025".

According to the corporation, the complex is capable of automatically processing products that require extreme geometric accuracy and surface quality — for example, working and compressor blades of aircraft engines.

SXS 512 supports working with more than ten types of materials, including hardened steels, titanium and heat-resistant nickel alloys. The built-in electronic control system is responsible for the accuracy of execution, and the control is carried out through its own software — "Comfortable Operator Interface" (CIO), which allows you to create, edit and control the entire technological process.

Rostec notes that the new installation will become part of the program for import substitution of industrial equipment for aircraft and engine construction and will significantly increase the level of localization of domestic machine tool construction.
