The group included the newest sea minesweeper "Afanasy Ivannikov" and the basic minesweeper "Kotelnich". The sweeping was carried out along the submarine's route out of the Kola Bay.

The ship crews practiced mine countermeasures in deployment conditions involving the use of mine weapons by a mock enemy, including the use of various types of trawls, modern automatic systems, and sonar stations.

The sea minesweeper «Afanasy Ivannikov» was built in 2025 at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant of the USC under Project 12700 «Alexandrite» of the Almaz design bureau of the USC and has a unique, the world's largest hull made of monolithic fiberglass, formed by vacuum infusion.

The mass of such a hull is significantly lower than that of a metal one, and the strength is higher, it is not afraid of corrosion, and the service life, subject to operating standards, is unlimited.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that operators of robotic Courier drones were trained to control the complex's weapons and service it at the training ground.
