NII Voskhod Determined as Operator of the Russian Software Registry

Order Signed by Russian Prime Minister Mishustin

The Russian government has selected the Research and Development Institute (NII) Voskhod as the operator of the Unified Registry of Russian Software. The document, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, appeared on the official website of legal acts.

The registry of Russian software appeared in 2016 on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. It was created to support domestic IT developers and promote import substitution.

The decision to include software in the registry is made by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. Currently, it contains more than 28 thousand programs and over 10 thousand rights holders.
